It took us a long time ( probably too long in retrospect) to turn our billing and collections over to an outside source but now that we have, we see the benefits. It seems to have helped our administrative staff to have more time to focus on other parts of the business and we know that when collections/contracts etc change, RS will be on top of it to make necessary changes. SGR Deja vu?

At Revenue Solutions we share in the concerns of our clients. Revneue Solutions has submitted letters urging represenatives to take action now to fix the SGR.
Short-Term SGR Deal Reached- The Speaker of the House of Representatives has announced that the House GOP Caucus has agreed to pass the short-term (two month) SGR fix. The House could pass the legislation as early as tomorrow but it is also possible that the vote will have to wait until next week. The bill that is expected to be passed would continue the 2011 Conversion Factor for the Medicare Physician Fee Schedule until March 1. The Congress will have to pass another "fix" between now and February 29th in order to prevent an SGR related cut on March 1st.
Stage 2 meaningful use delayed

In response to significant input from multiple stakeholders, expert testimony, and countless hours of review, analysis and deliberation, HHS announced its intention to delay the start of Stage 2 meaningful use for the Medicare and Medicaid EHR Incentive Programs for a period of one year for those first attesting to meaningful use in 2011. CMS intends to propose such a delay in the Stage 2 meaningful use Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM), which is scheduled to be published in February 2012.
